What makes Sierra Home unique?At Sierra Home we’re on a mission to showcase the world a piece of the Andean Living, where we find a perfect balance between the people, the animals and the planet, coexisting all together as a community. For this reason, we work closely with skilled artisans in the Andes, to ethically produced unique pieces made out of natural or recycled materials. When you buy at Sierra home, you don't only bring home a unique timeless piece, but you bring the essence of the Andes. Sierra Home is a brand born in the Andes, but globally driven.

How do you choose the artisans and materials you work in Sierra Home?Sierra Home is strongly committed to promoting ethically made goods, and we support and work with skilled artisans that share this commitment. Most of the artisans we work with are are usually found in vulnerable communities in the Andes more than 3.000 meters above sea level. One of the purposes that drives Sierra, is the opportunity to give a hand to these communities and help to develop a the economy and society in such forgotten places. We choose to bring in materials with a purpose. In this first collection, we focus on an amazing natural fiber like Alpaca, which has been a green and eco-friendly provider for thousands of years. The softness, lightness and variety of unique benefits pushed us to share this material with you. In addition to alpaca, we work with wool and RECYCLED polyamide, always maintaining a conscious and responsable purpose.

How should I care for my products?Our favorite part about alpaca pieces is their long-lasting nature and durability. To properly wash any Alpaca Pillows and Throws: Dry clean only. If you have a specific stain that worries you, damp the stained area with cold water using a clean white cloth. Leave the spot damp for 10-15 minutes and then gently blot with a dry, white cloth from both sides to draw out the stain. For all of our other wools, we recommend using a wool-safe stain remover. If the stain persists, we recommend dry cleaning.

Are all Sierra Home products hand made?All Sierra Home pieces are carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans in workshops located in Andean communities. The methods to develop the pieces include traditional techniques, specialized to treat the different natural materials we use. Do you ever offer free shipping or discounts?All orders over $500 ship free within Europe. We offer promotions throughout the year through our newsletter, social media and website. Discount codes cannot extend to any purchases before or after the valid sale dates, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.

How long does it take to process / receive an order?Our shipping partners deliver Monday to Saturday. We aim to ship your order within 3-5 business days of when it’s placed (and sooner whenever we can), but not guaranteed. Delivery times are best estimates and do not include weekends or holidays. Standard Delivery | Est. 6-10 business days Express Shipping | 2-3 days We will send an confirmation email with tracking information once we ship your order so you can get updates directly from the delivery carrier.

How can I track my order?A shipping confirmation email will be sent once your order has shipped (don't forget to check your spam filter!). You can check your order directly on the shipping company website. You can also log into your customer account to access order details, tracking number, order history and wish list, etc.

What payment methods do you accept?We accept most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as PayPal and Apple pay.

Can I cancel an order after it's been placed?You can cancel an order for up to 3 hours from when it has been placed. If your order has already been processed, reach out to us at help@sierra-home.com to set up a return.

I placed my order, but haven't received my email confirmation. What should I do now?If you haven't received a confirmation within a few hours of placing your order, check your Spam or Junk folders, or reach out to us at help@sierra-home.com!

The product I want is not in stock. What can I do?While we can’t promise a product will come back in stock, we do restock many of our main pieces. We ethically produced our pieces in collaboration with artisan workshops in the Andes, and we need to respect both the material availability and hard work of our artisans when creating our home goods. Our product pages will give you an estimation of when orders will ship next.
